Linda Jo Thornberg

Linda Jo Thornberg is a Managing Partner, but her passion lies in Business Development. She works with businesses of all sizes including, small, medium and multi-location businesses. She specializes in brand awareness, local PR and social media integration, as well as online reputation, online review and testimonial generation.

Someone once asked her for her elevator pitch and she replied "Hmm. my elevator pitch...interesting... I think it goes deeper for me... It is passion. I have the honor of helping businesses build and promote their image and reputation... I love working with a business finding out what their goals are and working together as a team. There are so many options out there from blogging and digital PR, search engine optimization, and mobile marketing APPS. My job is to educate the business owner. It is a whole new world of how buyers buy and what influences them. It is all about how a company makes them feel even more now than ever."

Her experience in her professional life and her education has given her the tools to be able to see companies not only from a business perspective, but as the consumer as well. She believes in treating every client as if she is their partner. She commented "There are no two businesses that are alike; of course they all have similarities." She feels her success has been in researching and listening to her clients business history, identifying the business strengths and weaknesses, researching competitors and demographics and listening to the goals and the future plans for her clients. Then working with businesses in laying out a customized marketing plan to reach business owners strategic goals.

She grew up in the Mon Valley area and pursued her professional career throughout the northwestern part of the United States. She returned to Pittsburgh after 20 years and immediately knew that she was home. Her professional background is in corporate retail and marketing with over 20 years in the industry. Linda Jo attended Edinboro University of PA and Mercyhurst College and focused her education on communication and management. She loves leadership and empowering people to do the right thing, whether it is in their daily life or in their careers. She is very involved in the local Chambers of Commerce, various networking events and in her local community. She is an avid sports fan and loves anything to do with Pittsburgh sports, including the Pirates, the Penguins and the Steelers. Her passion for branding and online reputation is very strong and she measures success through results.

She feels that one of the things that sets The Pittsburgh Business Show apart from other shows is that we take a look at your business and put ourselves in your shoes and what is best for the business to build your reputation and in turn your revenue.

"There are so many businesses that have an outstanding image in the Pittsburgh area," she stated, "the next step is really impacting the digital world and getting you out there to promote that image. Integrating social media, becoming the expert in your industry by educating and building your reputation by reviews and testimonials is where your mind needs to be."

Bryan Thornberg

For over 25 years, Bryan Thornberg has been very active in the Pittsburgh community. In his past, he was a member of the Robinson Rotary, a Pittsburgh Chamber of Commerce Ambassador and President of the Pittsburgh Networking Group. He was a member of BNI, TSBN, and the Small Manufacturing Council. He also belonged to additional Chambers around the Pittsburgh region.

Bryan founded Higher Images. 15 years ago. As President and Chief Executive Officer, he leads his team in all digital projects, consultations, development, marketing, public relations, sales, analytics, account management, and product support. Higher Images is one of Pittsburgh's longest standing full service digital marketing agencies. Higher Images's goals have always been to help companies achieve their goals and realize results though a vast number of strategies targeted in the digital world. Higher Images works with business of all sizes and not only serves the Pittsburgh market but regional and national businesses as well.

Most recently in Bryan's accomplishments include becoming a Board of Director Member for KAPE. The Keystone Alliance for Performance Excellence (KAPE) is a 501c(3) nonprofit corporation that helps all types of organizations improve their performance and outcomes, including productivity, workforce engagement, competitiveness, and customer and stakeholder satisfaction.

Bryan has also been a member of the TAB Board member since 2011. The Alternative Board brings solid business owners and leaders from non-competing industries together in a group setting – similar to a board of directors on a monthly basis.

His past experience and achievements in his career include being the National Sales Manager for Zaxis International, where he developed and implemented worldwide marketing and distribution to OEM and sold BioTechnology products and reagents. He managed teams of sales people and companies selling products world wide to clients such as VWR Scientific, ICN Pharmaceuticals, SmithKlien Beachem, and Merk Group. He was also the National Sales Manager for Twin Teach Learning Solutions where he developed and implemented a national sales force to sell online training for professionals to take for continuing educational credits through universities.

There has been many accomplishments through out his career. He is a Robert Morris University graduate and continues his Alumni relationship as an Advisor today.

He also cares very much for his community and gives back in any way possible some of the causes include Keystone Young Marines, Carnegie Theatre, Monessen Library, Relay for Life, the Veterans of America among others.

Bryan has more than 20 years of experience building innovative digital marketing programs, implementing global marketing strategies, and developing contextual website content. He is widely respected for his entrepreneurial spirit and unmatched intensity for corporate pride in the collaborative work produced by the team. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his wife and daughters, scuba diving, and traveling. He is proud to finally realize his dream of the Pittsburgh Business Show and helping businesses and the economy grow in the region.
